The fourth-seeded Dane took the first set in just 26 minutes, breaking the unseeded Russian three times on the Olympic Stadium's fast hard court.
Dushevina, a finalist last year, played better in the second set but couldn't capitalize on break points. Wozniacki, who had only seven unforced errors in the match, then broke Dushevina twice in a row to close out the victory.
"It's been a fantastic week,'' Wozniacki said. "But it wasn't as easy as it looked. I was a little bit nervous in the second set when she came back.''
Wozniacki, who took a set off second-ranked Jelena Jankovic in the third round at Wimbledon, did not drop a set in her five matches in Stockholm.
The next stop for the 18-year-old Wozniacki is Beijing for the Olympics.
Earlier Sunday, Wozniacki defeated top-seeded defending champion Agnieszka Radwanska of Poland 6-4, 6-1 in the semifinals. Dushevina beat 2005 winner Katarina Srebotnik of Slovenia in the other semi. Both matches were rained out Saturday.
The tournament, which has been held at Olympic Stadium since 2004, will move to Bastad in southern Sweden next year. Bastad is the site of the Swedish Open men's clay court tournament.
